Castle Lite commits 70 million to 10 th edition of Ebb Ladies Open

Castle Lite Uganda has committed 70 million shillings to the 10th edition of the Entebbe Ladies.

The Open golf tournament that tees off from March 6-7 at the par 71 Lake side Entebbe Club.

Nile Breweries under their popular brand Castle Lite who have been sponsors of this tournament for the last ten year’s announced their sponsorship at a brief ceremony at the venue of the tournament.

“Our relationship with Entebbe Club has grown in leaps and bounds over the years. We are very proud of the contribution that the club is making towards the development of the game inUganda, and it’s a cause we are always priviledged to be associated with.”

Irene Nakalembe, will be vying for a record 6 th crown on her home course that she has bossed a lot, but will be pushed to the limits by Lady Golfer of Year Martha Babirye together with Toro Club’s Peace Kabasweka, others to push her to the limits include Eva Magala, Gloria Mbaguta, Wendy Angudeyo, Melon Kyomugisha, Diana Nabalirwa, Judith Kyomugisha, Sheila Kesiime
just to mention.

Over co-sponsors of the tournament include Roke Telecom, who will provide free Wifi to all guests and golfers taking part in this tournament they are now committed to support the game of golf among the ladies as it’s a fast growing sport in the country.

CBA Uganda, are the other sponsors while Pinnacle Security will provide security the other is Trendy Strands.

The tournament is organized by the lady captain of Entebbe Club Rita Akot Apell and is a Uganda Ladies Golf Union event. The 18 hole course is believed to be in pristine condition ahead of this major ladies golf tournament.
