If tax on children was levied today how much would Weasel Manizo pay?

By Jeremiah Kaniampiha

According to news in the corridors of power, Uganda is set to levy tax on children.  Much as Frank Mugabi, the Communications Officer at Ministry of Labour, Gender and Social Development, denied reports, it wont stop debate on this salient issue.

Our attention is on musicians like Douglas Sseguya Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo, who has been criticized for having an unknown number of kids but he has never clarified the allegations. If today tax is levied on children how much will he be paying?

Some time back, Weasel Manizo had a standoff with his wife Talia Khassim, the Wiggle Wiggle singer, got an opportunity to clear the air then saying that the actual number of children he has was only four.

While speaking in an interview with the press concerning a video of him getting involved in a fist-fight with the wife, Weasel revealed that he only had four children.  However, four children would not save him from the tax; he would still pay for the extra two.

During the press interview, Weasel Manizo claimed that even his late singing partner Mowzey Radio had more kids than him before he went on to stress how people confuse his kids with those of his siblings who look-alike.

“By the way, I don’t have as many children as most people allege. It is just because people took it that way and make fun of it that’s why I also left it at that,” Weasel explained.

“Speaking truthfully, I have only four kids and Mowzey Radio had more kids than me though I will be adding more soon,” Weasel Manizo asserted.

Weasel Manizo said that whenever people see him posing in photos with his siblings’ children, they immediately conclude that those are his children as well yet it is not true at all. It is just because at their home they almost all look-alike.
