Mafias on. Two years back, the Committee on Commissions Statutory Authority and State Enterprise (COSASE) was probing the sell of defunct commercial banks in Uganda, which included Sudhir Ruparelia’s Crane Bank.

Journalists were getting information about the truth behind discrepancies, and The Drone Media, too was getting information on that matter.

The Drone Media and Chimp Reports, remained the only online news channels that refused to bend to mafia’s interests. As a result, the mafias and their agents (journalists) orchestrated a plan to soil/spoil and defame Pidson Kareire of The Drone Media and Giles Muhame of Chimp Reports.

The agents were represented by a journalist from Kamwokya_-Kisementi’s based Capital FM, a one M.K  who met Pidson Kareire at Wandegeya and offered lunch as in real food at Sebankyaye Restaurant, while the agent openly asked Pidson to join them and fight Bank of Uganda (Kassekende and Bagyenda).

However, the deal did not materialize, Pidson reportedly refused basing on his spiritual beliefs. After the above boomerang, the enemies of Bank of Uganda, opted for a cyber war.  They wrote a defamatory post and using a fake account in the names of Prince Kimera Kalemeera and circulated it.

Upon posting it, one of the agents from Vision Group notified Pidson Kareire. They knew it would not make any impact so he had to tickle him.

Pidson later opened a file at Old Kampala Police Station. Thereafter went to Kibuli CID Headquarters, then Uganda Communications Commission (UCC). The author and the agents were discovered and named.

The author, actually, was a Vision Group journalist, he was helped by his two colleagues; one from Bukedde and another from Kampala Sun, who reportedly worked to help an Indian’s son circulate the fake post. The fire was extinguished after realizing that the so called Prince Kimera Kalemera was being zeroed on. Keep your eyes here; they started the cyber war; they must pay.
