Samson Kasumba pelts Frank Gashumba

Samson Kasumba has sarcastically responded to Frank Gashumba in a song.The song is sarcastic as he narrates how he has suffered in life but now he is being told to produce his land titles.
The song produced in Luganda is translated loosely as “I have been through alot,I have suffered enought but now I being told to produce my bank statements and landtitles immediately,I think Uganda is fun.You people don’t need to feel pity on me”
The history of the misunderstanding is that Kawalya Isaac also known as Kays a TV presenter at NBS Television commented that he is happy and impressive with the way Sheila Gashumba handles herself and the way she hosts international artistes as she does her work of being a master of ceremony and all.
He however added that he is not impressed with her skimpy and often skin revealing dress code because in future her children may come across such raunchy pictures of their mother in the internet.
Sheila Gashumba was not impressed and she lashed back at Kays using her Twitter handle by accusing Kays of chasing clout and seeking unnecessary relevance.She reminded him that he is not her level,as a child he was watching “kigenyagenya and That’s Life Mwattu”.These are popular TV shows in the early 2000s.
She stated that she was watching Beyonce and Rihanna perform live,so they and will never be of the same level.
This didnot amuse many people in the media including Samson kasumba who replied to the tweet that Sheila can have her fights without belittling and undermining local content because that is art and it is not easy to make art.As some one who works in a local TV station airing local content, Sheila ought to have gone slow in making trashing local content
One of the actresses Leila Kalanzi Kachapizo was not impressed too and took to her face book page to state that Kigenyagenya openned many doors for her since it had no age restrictions,no indecent dressing and ni use of drugs.
Frank Gashumba who is Sheila Gashumba’s father was not impressed by Samson Kasumba’s clap back at Sheila and while appearing on Radio 4 stated that why is it that only Samson Kasumba of k NTV employees involved.He said he wonders if Samson Kasumba supports local content,then he should stop faking an English accent.
He also said at his age Samson Kasumba should not involve himself in some issues.He went on to praise his daughter for being successful and dared Samson Kasumba to bring his bank statements and landtitles to compare them with Sheila’s. He alsi stated that being a presenter on a local TV station makes Sheila a creater of local content too,
