The 12 years of Hannington Bugingo’s horizontal intentions

God is a Good God men! We glorify His name from day one. It feels like just yesterday. I remember the Bakiga at the Kukyaala, licking on the hoe (nga bakomba kwerima) mbu their girl had to be wedded by the year’s end in 2009.
I never saw you pulling this off, but if your mom were to re-name you today, I would ask her to baptize you Hannington Bugingo Kijja Kuggwa.
You were the chairman organizing committee, The Groom, the Treasurer, Head of Transport, Barber, Reception Manager, Champaign popper and Kateera Rume (Harbinger) …the only office you didn’t manage on that day was the one you gave Gerald Mbabazi Rutaro. I still think he retained half the Alcohol stock of the day and used it as opening stock for his Ka-Bar business in Kisaasi because it’s after that wedding that he started putting on weight….. (anzise).
Jokes aside, I celebrate you two in many ways. Esther Bugingo yooya kyoyagala ndeete. Gwe Bugingo Hannington you have almost done and seen it all in your “Short” life, but one of the things you haven’t seen is a short man being dipped in the salty waters of the Indian Ocean. I have everything I need to pull this off here at the Voyager Beach Resort and my Kanyama Charles David Livingston Bukuwa has been well assigned for the baptism.
