Bobi Wine should choose to be a politician or artiste at a time, not both at once – Bebe Cool

“I pray for my brother Bobi Wine, he is my younger since I groomed him in this industry and I advise him not to take the law for granted. I am a friend to president Museveni and he can call the authorities in charge to allow me sing anywhere, but I ensure I follow the law to the dot. I have all the letters required even for the past years,” Bebe Cool added.

Bebe Cool has urged his colleague Bobi Wine to ‘balance his boat’ and choose when to be an artiste and when to be a politician at a time.

The singer was speaking following the cancellation of Bobi Wine’s Busabala show, which he said was making of his organisers and himself failing to follow stipulated guidelines.

Bebe Cool claims that the intention by Bobi Wine to sit on both the political and music table is one that is causing him trouble and he is trying to use all to his advantage.

“He was given a warning and told not to politicize things. I implore him to clip on his wings. He should know he has two people in one, a young man with political ambitions and a father who feeds his children through music,” Bebe Cool said.

The Police have recently asked Bobi Wine to differentiate between him as a musician and the member of parliament for Kyadondo East constituency.

Government claims that the singer has used his musical shows as political rallies in the event, inciting violence.
