Gervase Ndyanabo confirmed CEO Vision Group

No more speculations. Gervase Ndyanabo was confirmed as new CEO Vision Group commonly known as New Vision. He has been Deputy Managing Director and Company Secretary.

The Drone Media overheard powers in the corridors, saying that Don Wanyama and Emmy Alio were vehemently rejected by the Gen. Salim Saleh. The powers in the corridors could not establish reasons, but Ndyanabo was accepted with ease.

Ndyanabo is a former seminarian from Kitabi, Bushenyi district. He was born in Kiyenje, Kashumba, Bukanga county in Isingiro District.  He joined Vision Group in 1989 as an Internal Auditor. He became Chief Internal Auditor in 1995 and then Company Secretary in 2005. Gervase holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Makerere University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business, United Kingdom.

 

Gervase is a Certified Public Accountant and is a Certified Internal Auditor. He is a member of the Institutes of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and Kenya, and The Global Institute of Internal Auditor. He is  a board member of Financial Trust Bank.

He started his career at Coopers and Lybrand, Chartered Accountants, Kampala before joining New Vision Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd where he has served as Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Finance Officer, and currently as Deputy Managing Director and Company Secretary.

Gervase has served on several Boards including; member of the Board of Directors of the Global Institute of Internal Auditors, President of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Uganda, and member and Vice Chairman of Council of Uganda Martyrs University.

He is currently the Chairman Board of Trustees of IIA Uganda, a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, and President of Uganda National Catholic Council of Lay Apostolate (UNCCLA).

Gervase is an active member of Lions Clubs International and is currently the Global Leadership Team (GLT) Coordinator for Uganda. Gervase holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree of Makerere University, Kampala and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, UK.
