This morning police has deployed heavily in Masaka as the force expects MPs Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya and Allan Ssewanyana to respond to the police summons.

Police in Masaka preparing for any eventuality

Last week police in Masaka summoned Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya and Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana for questioning over their alleged involvement in the ongoing killings in Greater Masaka region.

The development comes at a time when joint security agencies are trying to put one and two together on what could be the cause of the killings that have since snuffed out 28 lives in just one month.

At Masaka Central Police Station this morning there is tight security. The Drones have gathered that even lawyers have been denied entrance. The deployment has been beefed up with anti-riot trucks as NUP MPs are expected there.
