Dr. Col. Kiiza Besigye outs his son purposely for political reasons

Dr. Col Kiiza Besigye has for the first time displayed his parental obligation as he celebrated the birthday of his son Anselm Kizza Besigye.

However, political analysts can exclusively reveal that the move is political. The FDC strongman, is strategically introducing his son to common man (wanainchi). Anselm has to be known to Ugandans if he is to inherit Col Besigye’s political legacy as well as properties.

Besides, Anselm will have to cut off the dreads like Hon Jimmy Akena; late Obote’s son.  Secondly, the American culture must be abandoned.  This can be achieved slowly or ‘process by process” and this has started.

Politicians like Hon Sam Kutesa have learnt that if you have too much wealth, you will also need political capital (power) to protect your wealth. That is why his daughter became area MP, but it was so expensive because she was not always on the ground. She spent too much of her time abroad. This is what Col Besigye is avoiding.

Well, Anselm Besigye is a son of former FDC Presidential Candidate Dr Col Kiiza Besigye and UNAIDS Executive Director Eng. Winnie Byanyima.  He recently graduated from Harvard University. Anselm enrolled at the prestigious American university in 2017 and has been pursuing a concentration in Social Studies.
