Nimusiima saves sh47 millions in a scientific wedding

Nimusiima Hebert officially walked his wife Edwig Nimusiima Mutetsi down the aisle of St. James Cathedral, Ruharo in Mbarara district on Wednesday. Unless the previous weddings, which culturally compelled entire clan, villages and municipality to attend; this particular one  had restrictions.
Fortunately, the restrictions worked best on the bridegroom’s feelings and pockets. The restrictions announced by his Excellency President Yoweri Museveni due to COVID-19 prevalence, and implemented by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC),  brought ease of financial pressure.

Nimusiima narrates his experience to The Drone Media;  My scientific wedding experience vs hexagonal weddings/parties is something to reckon on. I officially tied the knot on 06/05/2020 at East Ankole Diocese Headquarters; St. James Cathedral, with an attendance of strictly 12 people due to strict guidelines by the Ministry of Health and as per the presidential guidelines.
Well, after the service, we took the photos from the cathedral gardens and from northern by pass’s magnificent ecological features, at exactly 1:00 pm. Thereafter we drove home in two vehicles only.
The reception was at my residential premises on Ntare Drive Lane, Kakyeka Cell  in Mbarara Municipality.
The scientific colourful event was held in my modest compound, attended by only 40 people, who enjoyed sumptuous delicacies, variety of Ankole cuisines that included the popular eshabwe.
There were only 3 speeches, my son, best man, and the groom, thereafter we cut our cake, and received gifts from our  restricted few guests, the party officially ended at 4:30 pm promptly with a closing prayer by Rev Erick Noel, in total we incurred only sh3 million shillings, and we had budgeted sh 50 million shillings for our wedding before COVID-19 launched its programs.
I therefore, wish to advise and implore all my friends and relatives as well as fellow staff members to emulate this wonderful experience,
Well, this might be the trend after the COVID-19 has disappeared to where it came from. Many people seem to have opened their eyes though women don’t want to subscribe to this theory/approach.
