Investigations

Two Stanbic Bank staff members were part of the goons who murdered an Eritrean

The Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) has  rearrested ASP Patrick Muramira a police officer formerly with special Investigations Unit on murder charges.

Patrick Muramira is former assistant to Nickson Agasirwe and reportedly participated in the murder of Daniel Weldo Okbamichael,  an Eritrean business who was kidnapped, killed and his bank account defrauded of 8 billion shillings.

Intelligence sources say that Hakim, who acted as a Baroza assistant was arrested by CMI for interrogation, he could have given up Patrick Muramira.

It should be recalled that Patrick and Nickson were protected from prosecution during Kayihura’s regime after being implicated by Ben Lumu and Lt Mangeni who are serving sentence for the murder of Weldo Deniel.

This website has been informed that another criminal diehard known as Kazahura was also involved in this murder. There are also two staff members of Stanbic Bank, who were involved.

Well, the trouble started when Daniel’s family reached out to president Museveni about his kidnap, the president ordered SFC to investigate the matter.

A search on Daniel’s phone number lead SFC to Nickson’s safe house in Kololo.  SFC quickly gave its report to the President who then ordered CMI then headed by Bakahula to investigate the issue avoiding police, the then CMI boss unfortunately called up Kayihura and informed the General about the development.

General Kayihura moved quickly with his team and Counter Terrorism (CT) force to the safe house to search it, together with a family member they found Daniel’s shirt in the safe house.

Instead of arresting everyone present General Kayihura simply deployed CT and ordered Muhangi to investigate.

Muhangi’s investigations led to the arrest of Ben Lumu and Mangeni who were in fact involved but working on orders of Nickson and Patrick Muramira.

On interrogation Lumu and Mangeni confessed to killing and working with other people but Muhangi was under strict instructions to shield Nickson and his team.

Lumu on reaching prison and realizing that he wouldn’t be saved by Nickson or Kayihura as promised decided to give information to CMI and ISO, this information is now put to good use and new suspects are being arrested to complete prosecution.

An independent source told The Drone Media that the victim was kidnapped and taken to Kenya in a house, where they gave him his phone to call his brother.

Daniel reportedly ordered his brother on phone to transfer the 8 billion shillings. Immediately, the money was transferred to bank account that belonged to the killers, but the second day the money was again retransferred. This raised suspicion and an investigation by Stanbic Bank managers discovered the owner had been kidnapped and murdered.
