The woman shot with Muhammad Kirumira was not his wife-police

Police has said the woman who was shot last evening along with former Buyende DPC Muhammad Kirumira in his car was not his wife.

In a statement signed by the spokesman of police Emilian Kayima, the force is concerned with the assignation.

It states: “The Uganda Police Force is greatly concerned with the assassination of ASP Muhammad Kirumira at Bulenga near his home at around 9:00pm.”

He was with a lady resident we have since established was not his wife. The wife was not with him at the time. We have known the lady and have interacted with her family.

We shall leave the names out in the mean time. God bless their souls She too succumbed to bullet wounds and was pronounced dead on arrival at Rubaga Hospital yesterday evening. He was driving his personal vehicle which is still at the scene of crime at Bulenga.

We condemn these heinous criminal acts and promise to hunt down these merciless criminals and bring them to book.

It is not surprising that Afande Muhammad Kirumira was gunned down.

The deceased knew he would be killed but did not know when he would be finished. The gang he tempered with is deadly; they have stolen billions of money they are capable of doing anything.

Some time back, Muhammad Kirumira told the press and his friends on social media that some goons had been trailing him.

He raised concerns before. Just like the slain MP Abiriga did before his assassination.

“Unknown people are trailing me from one place to another, with no clear motive. I am trying to fix a solution. Inform one another. I have now connected dots on this surveillance on my movements, these are associates of some officers facing various charges in military court and possibly some friends of Kitatta camp.”
