Tororo launches refurbished health unit

Tororo Municipality has today launched the newly refurbished Health Unit. The launch was presided over by Kisolo Micheal the Vice chairperson of the board of Reproductive health uganda.

The Board of the Reproductive Health Uganda spearheaded this vanguard, and the leadership of Tororo District was represented by the District Chairperson, Mayor, CAO at the launch yesterday, 20th January, 2023 at Tororo Municipality offices.

Deputy RDC Amula Albert acknowledged the role that has been played by Reproductive Health Uganda since 1957 when the organization was founded and thanked the management and Board of Reproductive Health Uganda for supplementing government by offering health services to the people of Tororo and Uganda at large.

He applauded RHU for improving on their health facility at the municipality with the aim of serving the community better and improving on their services.

Amula Albert urged the management and board of Reproductive Health Uganda to consider setting up a facility in the far lower local administrative units of the district since many can’t access the municipality.
