Uganda Golf Club Honors Partners

National team designer Matthias Kalule and Palm Valley Golf Club captain Richard Lutwama had fun at the cocktail

Uganda Golf Club hosted its partners to a cocktail party on Thursday evening at its terrace. The cocktail that was attended by some club members, invited guests and partners’ representatives was aimed at appreciating all the club partners in their different categories.

Uganda Golf Club captain Jackson Karyarugookwe led the club in applauding a huge cast of the partners/sponsors who have helped the club in various aspects especially financially.

“We are glad to have golf now affiliated to National Council of Sports and under the Uganda Olympic Committee. Uganda Golf Union is our new baby and we are glad that they are now under us,” Don Rukare, the new board chairman of National Council of Sports stated at the cocktail.

“We hope to see Uganda at one point sending a team to the Olympics in the near future.”

Key sponsors of the game of golf attended as they wined and enjoyed a night of drinks of various brands together with cocktails served on the night with light entertainment.

In attendance were Uganda Golf Club Trustees, past chairmen, captains and the Uganda Golf Union executives, Members of Parliament just to mention.
Uganda Golf Club, Kitante is a 18 hole course playing off par 72.

Otherwise, it was a blissful evening as golfers and fans partied. Classic music filtered through the breeze that dominates the Golf Course area. It really felt good as you could read on their faces.
