Who is pressing the buttons in Uganda

By Drone Team

Whoever is pressing the buttons on which this country runs should slow down on the speed because he/she is engaging a high gear, too high indeed!

Are you not surprised? As we were meditating on Entebbe International Airport saga/scandals, there came NSSF, while on it and about to finish or end it,  the Rt. Hon Anita Annet Among, the Speaker of  11th Parliament, picked a quarrel with Hon Joel Ssenyonyi over trivial issues.  As the dust was settling, all of a sudden the bail for murder/bijjambiya suspects Hon Ssegirinya Muhammed and Allan Ssewanyana dropped in. You can imagine the euphoria!

Before we came out of that euphoria and political quagmire, Hon Betty Nambooze and Abed Bwanika staged a political drama that was not paid for. While Ugandans were busy kubawoyawoya so that they could settle it amicably like brothers and sisters, here comes mabaati/iron sheets scandal. This scandal had the usual suspects, you imagine the head of one of the three arms of government was in it! Who will save Uganda?

While dust for mabaati was looking for where to settle the sh85bn for goats also knocked on the doors of Ugandans, seeking for attention. While on the sh85bn we had the mother of all propaganda, mbu national Unity Platform (NUP) also has Drones!

Jesus Christ! Ugandans have very strong heads to take in all these. Whoever is pressing…..

Anyway, this is good for the record. The media is doing a good job, but who is responsible for sending criminals to where they are supposed to be? Is prison made for only common man? Let those who misuse taxpayers’ money be penalized because they are criminals who should be kept in the university of understanding, which is prison.  The fact that these scandals occur and are discussed in public is enough to adduce evidence.
