Zari birthday party resurrects White Party event

Zari Ssemwanga aka Zari Hussein The Boss Lady as she prefers to be called, held a birthday party in Kampala, which she claimed her pals organized. However, the party was dominated by wild partiers. Partiers  enjoyed themselves.

Reminiscent  of her hey days of late Ivan Ssemwanga when the group dominated by South African Sangomas; who would fill up Ange Noir in white attires codenamed “White Party,” Zari made sure this time around, white dominated.

Every partier wore white from toe to head. The do was glamourous, but full of wild partying. It was a circuit party at which the standard clothing was all or almost all white.

The party was returning for the first time since 2015, and if anyone had doubted whether the party would retain its appeal after that absence, the answer was provided in both bold and elegant fashion, as Zari reminded Kampala’s party animals why it was always regarded the most glamourous party event on Uganda’s social calendar.

The All White Party has not been  taking place because Zari took a break from the event to attend to her new-born child. Besides, most of the Sangomas died while other became broke because “Omugezi wabwe” (Ivan Ssemwanga) their thinking Robbot died.

Ivan Semwanga was a Ugandan-born South African socialite. He was one of the members of the self-styled Rich Gang group well known in both South Africa and Uganda.

Ivan is gone, but he seems to have left behind a trail of wreckage and rivalry between his family, friends and ex-wife Zari Hassan. As it were, Ivan was very wealthy, a fete that got him crowned “God-father of the rich gang”.

Zari has been trying to secure Ivan’s wealth so that his sons should still keep living a comfortable life, but her in-laws seem to have none of it.
