800 Jobs In China Announced In Kakande’s Church

Middle East Consultants in January this year (2019) announced in Prophet Kakande’s church that they had received contract to supply 800 teachers to China.

However, this was not true. This is one of its tricks, the directors use this to lure gullible Ugandans.

An official at Ministry of Gender, Labour and social Development in Principle Employment Services, has told The Drone Media that Middle East Consultants has twice been suspended for similar reasons.

The official was responding to a letter The Drone Media wrote to the minister about cheating of Uganda’s job seekers. The official explained that the ministry had not launched another investigation but since there were now complaints, the ministry was going to carry out another investigation.

Middle East Consultants has been cheating clients using many ticks. Some of the tricks used are fake interviews, deceptive averts and attractive salary, yet the actual salary is less.

The company accepts many clients when actually it does not have job orders/job contracts, which makes it difficult to get jobs. As a result many people stay waiting for years without getting jobs.

Well, those who applied to go and teach in China should know that they were conned. Let them ask for their refund and or job offers.

The Drone Media has learnt that these matters have also reached to the office of Speaker of Parliament of Uganda; and also Ministry responsible.

This was one of the tricks Middle East Consultants’ MD Gordon Mugyeni used to lure gullible migrant workers. One of the flocks from Prophet Kakande’s Church returned home in Kakajjo, Old Kampala very excited about the anouncement. He did not know that what he had saved was targetted.  Two weeks after the announcement he backslid, he stopped going to Kakande’s church over this issue. Upto date, the man has never gone back.
