Another Rwandan musician dies in detention

Sad news coming from the neighborhood, Rwanda; is that a young Rapper Polly Jay is dead! The rapper was arrested for breaking COVID-19 regulations, unfortunately for him, in that country singing revolutionary songs also means death. COVID-19 regulations became an excuse; that was indirect way booking him into heaven. The young musician went to be with the Lord.
Jay Polly began writing and singing revolutionary songs such as Inkongoro Yumushimusi ( The milk Can of a cattle rustler), “Gereza” or prison to portray to the Rwandan youths the long arm of the state.
In the song he has that goes like….” it’s a free hotel room..no worry about food because they give us enough and other false embellishments..
It was a song clearly done with direct input by RPF for many young people then became submissive even when they were jailed for no crime committed. However, many of them never came out alive……
