BEAUTIFUL FACES WITH EMPTY BRAINS RUIN MARRIAGES
The dangers of a beautiful girl or woman are manifested in her lack of brains. This fact is Biblical and exemplified by two women in the Bible: Queen Vashti and Herodias. The women mentioned herein represent all beautiful women you know in higher positions; you are free to name them!
They are chanced; gifted by nature but make decisions like those made by Queen Vashti and Herodias.
Can you imagine Herodias had opportunity to ask for anything in the world but she asked for the head of John the Baptist! And queen Vashti lost her crown to Esther because of her lack of brains. Esther 1:1-21 and Mark 6:17-29
Before you look at what exactly happened to Queen Vashti and Herodias, can you please add your voice and name some of the women in this pot/box/category in Uganda?
The Vashti and Herodias of Uganda, include those who bring men in their marital beds. A story is told that one of the wives of Ugandan musicians was once caught up with gundi who worked in a telecom giant, and the man reportedly hid in a fridge!
Take example of late Kasiwukira’s widow; with all that wealth, she made a stupid decision. She allegedly connived with the killers of her husband. She is not alone; late Nyenga’s wife, she knocked her husband to death!
Besides, many girls in Uganda today opt for stupid decisions. They would rather go with a high-way robber, who they believe is loaded, than cling to the low income earner who is honest. Their stupidity obstructs them from seeing the dangers in the latter partner.
Can you imagine this! When his daughter Herodias came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests; and the King said to the girl, Ask me for whatever you wish, and I will give it. And he solemnly swore to her, whatever you ask me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.
She went out and said to her mother, what should I ask for? She replied, The head of John the Baptizer. Immediately she rushed to the king and requested, I want you to give me at once the head of John the Baptist on platter. Can you imagine the degree of stupidity!
