Church House Building finally opens

As you read this, the Church House Building is operating. This is true faith as well as a testimony. The project started when three or four generations were not yet on earth.

The village clergy would make during Christmas time, calling upon Christians to raise money for the church house. Fortunately, this project has been completed.

It will serve those who never contributed, they even don’t want to know how it all started. The dot.com generation.

Those who do not know generations we had gramophone generation, generation X etc. Today, we are in dot.com generation.  Most of them in dot.com generation are lost in sports betting and Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and wolokoso, while the remaining few especially females are misled by false prophets. Anyway, back to Church house building.

The idea to construct a building of this nature was conceived in 1965, with the aim of enabling the Church of Uganda to financially sustain itself.

However, earlier attempts to fundraise did not meet the set targets.

The Church took those funds and bought land in different parts of the city. By selling those real estate holdings in the 2000s, the provincial office was able to raise the required 30% of the construction costs.

They also secured a 70% mortgage from Equity Bank (Uganda) to complete the construction.

Construction of the premises finally started in January 2011 with an initial timeline of 18 to 24 months.

However, due to unforeseen delays, completion of the project further delayed until now in the second half of 2018.

The view of the church house building is so nice and has added good scenery on Kampala City. Secondly, it has restored the faith of lost Christians. The trust that was lost during the Christmas times while the clergy convinced Christians to contribute for this project, has been regained.

God is good all the time.
