Fight between Co- workers in Kanungu

Two co-workers fight in Kanungu: Today morning a video of a man on top of the girl circulated all over social media.

The man is Twinamatsiko Nelson 51 years the manager at KFM Kanungu who was filmed pulling himself from a co- worker Tumuramye Anita 24 years a journalist at the same radio station.

It’s alleged that on 26/01/2023 Anita had gone to demand for her sh40,000 as a commission for the business she had arranged.

Reaching at the station she requested the money from the manager who was from the studio and Nelson said he has no money. Anita grabbed his collar, pulled him, they both stumbled and fell he tried to extricate himself from her and she kept holding his collar.

The last part of the vidio shows Nelson trying to take Anita’s hand off his collar and trying to get away.

On a phone interview between Nelson and the drone media, Nelson said that he is a new manager at the station and on coming he found his fellows misallocating the funds for the radio and he put a new system where for any advert or announcement to be aired, it must have been receipted which did not appease some workmates and they staged a way for him to exit the radio that is why he was attacked.

Police spokes person Elly maate has issued a statement about the fight between the co-workers as follows:

Reference to the video circulating, where a lady is being beaten by a man, it was reliably established to have been at Kanungu Fm Radio station, when the victim one Tumuramye Anita 24yrs a journalist at the same radio station and resident of Katate cell western ward Kanungu town council, reported to have been assaulted by one Twinamatsiko Nelson 51yrs the manager at the same radio station and resident of the same above address.

It’s alleged that on 26/01/2023 at around 1800hrs at the Kanungu Fm Radio station, was assaulted by the manager when she had gone to demand for her 40,000/= commission from him.

After she reported,
statements were recorded from complainant and witness, scene of crime visited and documented, investigations were carried out and suspect was summoned, appeared today morning (01/02/2023), his statement recorded and was detained pending court.

Case file completed and forwarded to RSA with charge sheet for further management.
