Guvnor Uganda 40+ pays tribute to DJ Alex Ndawula
This Friday July 1 rst, 2022 in Club Guvnor Uganda and Guvnor Uganda 40+, the original Oldies Night will be paying tribute to an Icon; the late DJ Alex Ndawula.
The organizers say that after diligently serving music in Nightclubs, Bars, at Events and Radios for decades, they will come together to befittingly send off the Icon who groomed, supported and inspired so many in the music fraternity.
Half of the proceeds from the night will go towards burial arrangements, and to the family of the late Alex Ndawula. “Rest In Eternal Power Alex Ndawula.” Guvnor Uganda & Guvnor Uganda 40+ “Whatever your mood, we have got the color,” thats what came from the organizers.
Well, the body of the fallen Radio Presenter Dj Alex Ndawula is still in the morgue. The Drone Media has learnt with deep sorrows that one of the reasons why the burial delayed is that there is a huge hospital bill incurred. Besides, the ancestral home in Lwengo District was also not in good shape. All these and other family issues have delayed the burial.
Surprisingly, some people are now pretending to be loving the dead DJ Alex Ndawula. They are organizing tribute nights, which could be a jimmick to make their dimes. Why didn’t they pay hospital bills why he lived?
The former Capital Fm Presenter died early this month, June 6, 2022. He has taken a full month in the morgue. He will finally be buried more like the late Jacob Oulanya in Lwengo District next month. The fallen Dj’s burial arrangements and key dates are now confirmed as thus:
Friday 8th July: Public viewing and memorial service hosted by Capital FM at Capital FM Gardens Plot 1A Kisementi, starting at 2pm.
Saturday 9th July: Funeral Service at Rubaga Cathedral starting at 2.00pm.
Sunday 10th July: The body of Alex Ndawula will be laid to rest at Kyamaganda Village in Lwengo District. Lwengo was his ancestral home. The Mass will starts at 12noon and the burial will take place at 2pm. Location/Google Maps link shall be shared in due course.
