If only Hon Kyagulanyi could outgrow his political breast milk

By Our Correspondent

I  pray that Hon Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine outgrows that political breast milk in his mouth and mental system.
His behavior and attitude clearly suggests that the “I” in him makes him feel too invincible to exhibit a mature sense of “we” in the way he relates with his fellow leaders in the opposition.
Watching him speak and analyzing his body language leaves you thinking that he is not humble and generous enough with the acknowledgment that he is only building on the foundation of other senior opposition leaders like Col. Kiiza Besigye.
NUP President Hon Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi
Watching Bobi Wine speak risks leaving one with the conclusion that he may not be a genuine team player, after all….!
The ego in him could even make him worst than the dictator he seems so passionate and determined to replace. And history has it for us. That almost all the dangerous dictators start with such messianic charm.  Sort of Charisma.
When Bobi Wine speaks, it’s not so difficult to see that ‘ Heros’ of the ‘revolution’ will be NUP members. Hardly any other person who died, suffered or made exceptional contributions outside NUP or his own interests  which of course, he will  package as ‘ peoples’ interest.
The passionate young man generally speaks as if the struggle against President Museveni started with him and NUP. And that it’s him and NUP that can successfully replace President Museveni. It looks like the meetings Counsel Zedriga was having  with other members of the opposition meant so little to him- a venture which could comprise ‘eating’ for his NUP cabinet.
I only hope the more politically mature guys who joined NUP from parties like FDC, DP and others will also not be treated with contempt. I pray COVID-19  doesn’t stop any of us from living to watch how the ‘eating’ wars start to unfold between the ‘historical’ NUP members or ‘organic’ NUP members who seem to think it’s a party primarily for youth.
For President Museveni, he seems  lucky that he is a shithole  Pharaoh.
Imagine if his thirst for power met the kind of institutional power which narcissistic  Trump met when he wanted to overturn the election results.
I think Trump envies people like President Museveni who easily get  their ways even when they change the constitution under the circumstance they do it.
Trump even imagined a third term in the US..!
And disbelief  of leaving power after 1st term left him launching a bush war at the brushless capitol.
Watching the ‘next election’ calculations  most Republicans  are making in their Defence of Trump makes the western democracy pass for one of the most corrupt systems of gov…! The shamelessness with which guys like the former speaker of the senate is changing and struggling with their conscience…!
