Kampala’s kiboko squad leader hits Egypt with a swagger

Dixon Okello has chased poverty with a black cock; he recently hit crowd control deals that included controlling the African Cup of Nations crowds (AFCON).
As you see in the picture Okello is in Egypt shedding the powers of the ‘big airs’.
One journalist who knows Okello, commented: ” If this is Mo Salah’s family that Dixon Bond Okello was stopping from accessing good Egyptian stadium spots, then this man has supreme Fitina. Another Ugandan representing in AFCON.”
In October last year 2018, Okello left the country on for a FIFA Safety and Security Officers training and assessment workshop, which acted as a harbinger for the rest of his deals.

Okello became popular in 2009 during the Kabaka riots, the days canes ruled Kampala. This is when the Kiboko Squad gathered: they were a group of plain-clothes civilians who roamed Kampala Road indiscriminately beating people with sticks to effectively quell the demonstration.
They came from the Taxi Park, the busy hub of transport. They came from the ranks of the police. They surprisingly ended the riots. OKello was the leader.
Since that time Okello was identified as the best crowd control maniac. Music Promoters especially Balaam Barugahara could not work without Okello till this day.
