Seasoned comedian Kato Lubwama who trounced seasoned opposition politician, the Conservative Party (CP) president John Ken Lukyamuzi, is likely to lose his seat. The Drone Media has learnt that Kato Lubwama has no Ordinary Level Certificate of education ( O’level).

According to information available, Kato Lubwama, who was then known as Paul Kato sat his O’level examinations at Old Kampala Senior Secondary School, but did not pass any subject, Paul Kato failed. He later changed his name arrangement to Kato Lubwama to which he was rightly advised to take an avid aft before he joined politics.

Lubwama was allowed to join Makerere University’s Music Dance and Drama (MDD), which was by then known as Musilu (Hopeless) Dala (very much) Dala( very much). Only dense candidates would join that department of Makerere University. Lubwama reportedly joined after he presented a letter from Uganda Examinations Board (UNEB), which showed that he sat O’level examinations though he never passed any.

According to close sources to Kato Lubwama, it is this frustration that prompted him to change his name from Paul to Lubwama and declare himself ‘a shrine man.’ Kato Lubwama has always boasted of being a traditional man, who believes in devil worshipping (Kusamila), serving gods in shrines. This is how he abandoned his Paul name and stopped from going to Lubaga Church, but he remained a Democratic Party ( dini ya pope) supporter.

In the recent elections Kato Lubwama trounced Ken Lukyamuzi. The results indicated that the Conservative Party (CP) president John Ken Lukyamuzi trailed in the Lubaga South Parliamentary seat race. Lukyamuzi had been the area Member of Parliament for 15 years.
