Anti Homosexuality Bill (AHB) is no Pro people

People who are peddling the Anti Homosexuality Bill (AHB) have failed to deliver on their election promises, they see the AHB as a tool to manipulate their electorates that they are busy working.

Don’t forget unsuccessfully overshadowing the iron sheets scandal.

So, the AHB is opportunistic, populist and hypocritical.

It has nothing to add to the strength of our penal code under which many sodomists & sodomy pedophiles have been successfully prosecuted.

If you can recall, in 2013 parliament passed the anti pornography act assented to by HE YKT Museveni which many thought deterrent but I trashed it too before late Fr Lokodo on UBC TV live.

It is no secret that despite that law pornography, homo pornography has been successfully widely circulated via WhatsApp, tiktok, email, Facebook, etc.

It is systems: police, DPP, judiciary which are making our very good laws useless.

The AHB is not magical that it is going to sort the homo problem when systems are stinking rotten and need overhaul & cleansing.

Of course our politicians prefer weak systems that can’t bite them.

They are already upset by police & DPP justice Jane Frances Abodo handling of the iron sheets thieves of course okayed by HE Museveni.

Sodomist Pr Robert Kayanja can’t be apprehended for sodomy abuses & recruitment because he is still in Museveni good books as an election votes mobilizer.

SMUG, Spectrum Uganda, Nicholas Opio, etc organisations are already closed in a country where these policians claim there is no law against sodomy promotion.

All those politicians and clerics aggressively peddling the AHB are exhibiting, populism, opportunism & hypocrisy.

Of course there are many others involved including many journalists who peddle it because of lack of understanding of already existing laws simply because they neither read, nor research, nor keep abreast with day-to-day developments.

I have studied existing laws to rightly conclude there is no need for the AHB peddled.
