90-Day Visa For Family Members Of Dubai Residents

Do you have family members who have been wanting to visit for the longest time? If the answer is yes, then you are in for some brilliant news, as there’s an update on visas for family members of Dubai residents. According to this, you will now be able to host your loved ones for three months, as they will be able to procure a 90-day visa.

You can now host your family if you happen to be a Dubai resident. According to travel agencies and other residents, you can get a visit visa for three months. However, you’re required to deposit a refundable amount of AED1000, to obtain this visa. According to a report by Khaleej Times, it was stated that a man based out of a company in Dubai had secured these visas for his company’s employees. For this, he approached the Amer Centre in Karama and the total cost of this service was AED1770. Additionally, this included the deposit of AED1000 and the typing and service fee, which rounded up to AED770.

It is speculated that family members who’re immediate blood relatives like mothers, fathers, or siblings can secure this visa. This comes after, several reforms were made to entry visas in the UAE in October 2022. As a result, this introduced one of the largest residency and entry permit reforms in the UAE until now. And it is worth noting, that for now, only individuals applying can get these visas.

To procure this visa, one must apply on the GDFRA website, the app, or through Amer typing Centre. So, if you plan to apply for this through the website, you will also be able to apply for an entry permit for business or job opportunities, for people awaiting green visas, and even for a patient escort. As it happens, UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Sports Security (ICP) proclaimed that they’d be implementing this new package of updates to improve services. Not to mention, this has been done through its smart service system for citizens, residents, and visitors. As such, a list of 15 services was updated and its smart services system by the ICA on 1 February 2023.
