Middle East Consultants suspended thrice

Middle East Consultants, the cheating labour company was suspended three times since its inception and now it faced expulsion, The Drone Media learnt. However, the State House Anti-Corruption Committee headed by Lt. Con Edith Nakalema together with the Director of Labour, Martin Wandera, on January 15th, 2020 cancelled its license. Surprisingly, the license was reinstated irregularly, claiming the company cleared all the debts.

According  to an official at Employment Services Externalization Unit in the Ministry of Labour, Gender and Social Development, the labour exporting company, was accused of various malpractices that included deceptive adverts on social media and on Tvs, extortion, harassment and fraudulent acts.

However,  when The Drone Media first investigated this matter the official said that a team was still investigating allegations and accusations, but was quick to add that “There is no smoke without fire.”

In 2018 Middle East Consultants’ managers duped Medical Professionals that they were taking them to Libya, but they ended cheating the desperate medical workers.

According to information got by The Drone Media; they were covered by officials in the Ministry. The Medical workers lost their money.

This year, there was an advert and announcement in church at KUBIRI( Kakande’s church) that 800 jobs were available in China for teachers, but up to this day these people are still agape, they were cheated.

Last week there was another swoop; they lured Ugandans with Sh 9 millions salary in Canada. This is a trick they have been using and the ministry is looking on!

The deceptive adverts are all over on social media and on TVs; selling lies, Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and other authorities are looking on as Ugandans are being cheated.

A visit at Middle East Consultants premises will show you this cheating openly. These are desperate Ugandans who are not aware of procedures are always cheated and stuck.

However, Ugandans should know that all complaints are addressed seriously at Ministry of Labour, Gender and Social Development (Externalization Unit-Employment Services) floor 7. If you complain genuinely they react and the culprits are penalized..

Middle East Consultants have been using this fake rumour that it is owned by big government officials. Be reminded that it is a lie they use to cheat Ugandans. They are ill advised; the company is run in a mafia style that is why they are doing such.

Check whatever you have read and rescue Ugandans; this impunity and thuggery must stop.

Lastly, Gordon Mugyenyi, the managing director is using corrupt security operatives to arrest and detain our Chief Investigator, but he is being monitored. He is advised to stop cheating, otherwise we shall write till he is forcefully stopped. We hear they are involved in other trades we shall publish next time……watch this space.
