Yung Mulo former Leone Island Gangster

Lubega Kasim is popularly known as Yung Mulo.  Yung Mulo is a Young talent Ragga, Dance, Dancehall and Reggae Artiste.

He was born in Kayija, Kitovu, Masaka, Uganda and raised in Zana; a Kampala Suburb. He was affiliated to Leone Island Crew of Jose Chameleone and later formed his own music record label Badman Gadget Music also known as BMG Music.

Initially, Yung Mulo was not into music. As a Kadogo (young active boy), he was a fighter and a very tough fighter the reason Jose Chameleone picked him up out of the young gangster of Zana and made him commander of Leone Island Gangster.

At that time had a one Issa as commander of Leone Island Gangster, but he offloaded Issa and his gang while Jose Chameleone watched. After that incident Chameleone convinced Yung Mulo to lead his gang and he was named Yung Mulo.

After he spent a long time with Jose Chameleone, he tested his vocals and realized he could sing. He got a chance of visiting Leone Island Studios and shrewdly learnt how music was composed. Soon he started producing his own songs. His first blockubuster was Tebakusobola. which hit hard Kampala waves and Uganda as whole.

It is Tebakusobola that paved way for him and into Ugandan Music Industry. As it is a norm at Leone Island, Jose Chameleone did not like it. He looked at him as a competitor. True, all the tricks and styles were copycat of Jose Chameleone.

A few days ago, a budding rising star Alien Skin teamed up with Yung Mulo and released a collabo titled Vako. In Vako, a purely dancehall song, Alien Skin and Mulo, who has been in the music limbo for about six years, call out their foes to get off.

He recently celebrated his 30th birthday.  You see, he is still young.
