As you read this, a national body to discipline rogue Disc Jockey players commonly known as DJs, is already in place. The body that consists of all the DJs in the country is called FFUDA (Federation For Ugandan DJs Association).

The Drone Media has learnt that among the rules governing the DJs’ body is a tough one to discipline the vulgar and diabolic DJs who always use the microphone to utter obscenities in public. The Disc Jockey players were also concerned about the dress code of their colleagues.

“You see we are celebrities but whenever we are given opportunities we abuse it. We shall not entertain vulgarities and ‘dirty mouth’ among us,” one of the members of the federation known as DJ Kim revealed.

DJ Kim said the federation was determined to stamp out the bad name of Dosc Jockey players, which has for a long time been tarnished. He said most people know DJs as unserious people yet they are responsible citizens who pay taxes and have families like any other citizens.

Another source told The Drone Media that members of this federation, who find it difficult to deliver their speeches in foreign languages, say like DJ Shiru and others will be provided with coaching aides. He explained that all these services will be catered for by the federation.

The federation also toughened on cleanness of its members. A source revealed that some of the DJs have been using the rasta excuse to be shabby and dirty.

“Somebody spends a month without washing his/her hair, claiming is a rasta. Who said rastas don’t bath or wash their hair?” a visibly vexed member of the federation asked.

Otherwise, the federation is here for the good and betterment of the society and to bring development in the country. It also aims at bringing peace and tranquility in the industry.
