Pass out of over 100 youths in Apac

MTAC passes out over 100 skilled youths in Apac Sub County.

The Apac District Assistant CAO, Madam Susan Oyepa, commended Management Training and Advisory Center (MTAC) for freely skilling youths in Apac Sub County, Apac District.

Ms. Oyepa was today 26/1/23 speaking at the pass out of over 100 youths who were skilled by MTAC through the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Co-operatives on making products like Liquid soap, bar soap, charcoal Briquettes, jelly, pavers, hair shampoo & books. Urged the youths to spread love when they go back to their community by sharing knowledge they have learnt from this training with their colleagues and members of their area.

She summed up by encouraging them to desist from laziness and referred them to go and read Genesis 1:1-3. She promised to guide the youths to places they can find all the materials for making these products in Lira City.

Madam Gloria, HR MTAC promised to do a refresher course through the Office of the CDO Apac Sub County to understand what else these youths are lacking so that they continue doing more trainings in order to chase the spirit of redundancy.

She also advised them to be in organized groups and always cooperate with their leaders right from Local Council 1 upto the District level in order to be part of Government programmes like PDM among others.

The youths applauds the team from MTAC-U, Apac DLG for taking this project to Apac Sub County as it’s an area which has been missing a number of Government programmes for so long.

Tino Caroline, a trainee assures the team that they will go and put the knowledge into practice.

The youths are to receive their certificates by next week as they were still being printed in Kampala.
