Patience Muhangi reveals what killed her husband

Hundreds of mourners flocked All Saints Cathedral Nakasero last evening for the funeral service of deceased motor rally champion, businessman Charles Muhangi

Among the mourners is former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi and Kampala Capital City Authority Minister Beti Kamya.

Patience Muhangi, a widow to the deceased, Charles Muhangi, was so bold and surprised mourners while eulogizing her fallen hubby.  She stood strong and vividly narrated the events that led to the demise of Charles Muhangi.

Patience Muhangi said her hubby had accepted Jesus Christ as his saviour, a few days ago when he repossessed his property he has been fighting for at Baganda Bus Park.

However, it is the same issue that consumed his life. Patience said Muhangi spent 8 days sleeping in his car at his repossessed property, which affected his health.

She said Muhangi was diabetic for 20 years but he had managed the levels of sugars and it was no longer a threat. Given the stress he went through in the past few weeks and the sugar levels, his heart suffered an attack, which is believed was due to anxiety.

On the morning he breathed his last, Patience was going to pick their daughter from Gayaza High School, but before she left the two checked the sugar levels that read 0.4 or 45.4 whatever the figures mean. The problem was that they could not agree on the exact figure so Patience left for Gayaza.

No sooner had she entered the gates of the school than her son called saying Muhangi was dead!

She called neighbours among who there is Dr. Kagwa. The doctor confirmed Muhangi was dead.

Patience told mourners that Muhangi died a happy man, she believes he is in the blossom of Abraham.

Earlier on the autopsy from Mulago Hospital revealed Muhangi died of heart attack. This corresponds with what Patience told mourners.
