Karimajong hunt for Chameleone

The company that hired Jose Chameleone to perform in Moroto District recently has asked music promoters in Kampala to help them recover their money they paid the singer. The Karimajong do hunt for the singer.
The flopped Moroto Music Concert was organized by Mula Entertainment Uganda.
When Chameleone failed to perform at the show, it forced the promoter to incur losses because the show was organized for Chameleone only no any other artiste was hired.
The Karimajong said they had even hired a chopper to pick Chameleone from Kajjansi in case he arrived in Uganda late from the US where he had gone to meet his family after Christmas and New Year’s Eve concerts.
This week, Mula Entertainment reported the matter to Moroto Police Headquarters in Moroto Town, but police advised them to use other legal means to make sure that he pays back their money.
After failing to get Chameleone and the person who received the sh4.5m deposit in the name of Chameleone, Mula Entertainment contacted the promoter Abbey Musinguzi to help them get their refund from the singer.
But Abitex said that he was instead insulted on phone by Chameleone.
“Chameleone has a habbit of taking promoters money without making any performances. He has lots of cases, the prominent one being the one of South Africa,” he said in an interview with different TV stations in Kampala.
Before coming back to Uganda from USA, the Leone Island Boss apologized to his fans in Moroto for his failure to show up at the event.
He said he wanted to come and entertain them but the Airline he had booked to come back to Uganda couldn’t allow him board on time hence making delays in his return Journey.
“It’s just very unfortunate that the flights to come were not available as we earlier expected. I am sure that I am coming to do what we have to do anytime soon. Let the propaganda be just talk; we shall do the singing soon!! My sincere apologies – I will make it up!! Jose Chameleone,” he said using a short face book message,” said via his Facebook page
The show was being organized under the theme Moroto Music Concert and Mula Entertainment team said they were expecting lots of Chamelone’s fans from the neighboring districts and countries to attend.
