President Yoweri Museveni has advised farmers to continue with production in agriculture while they struggle with the Covid-19, otherwise the country might end up with no food.

Mr. Museveni used his facebook page and his twitter handle, where the jovial president displayed images of his grazing Ankole-long horned cattle, while he looked on.

“While we continue to struggle with the virus, production in agriculture and industry must continue. Otherwise, we shall end up with no food and no factory products,” the facebook post reads.

Some crooks yesterday forged the president’s twitter handles and alarmed Ugandans. However, the president was quick to counteract the lies and forgeries of the crooks.

“My team has notified me about a forged tweet reportedly saying I have ordered a total lockdown of the country. That is false. Like I indicated earlier, I will keep the country informed of any new measures to curb Covid-19 through the usual channel of a live broadcast. Continue to observe hygiene guidelines and stay safe,” his facebook post reads.

Since the president’s team is active and reporting to him what is bothering Ugandans, our readers are wondering why the LDUs and police, continue to rob Ugandans.

” A pregnant woman was found at her shop in Lugala, Rubaga Division, as usual operating a shop which also sells beers. The woman was taken by police officers and later released after she paid,” Ronald Bukenya, a resident of Kosovo, told The Drone Media.

Meanwhile the president has appointed Mr John Musinguzi Rujoki the new Commissioner General of Uganda Revenue Authority, with immediate effect.

He has also forwarded the details of Dr Michael Atingo-Ego to Parliament for vetting for the position of Deputy Governor, Bank of Uganda.  Sadly, the Governor, Tumusiime Mutebire, is admitted at Nakasero Hospital.
