Last night the judges at Miss Uganda 2018 agreed that Quiin Abenakyo, was the most beautiful girl in Uganda.
Abenakyo who is presumably a Musoga by arrangement, her name suggests she is from western Uganda. All in all, Abenakyo is the reigning Miss Uganda as you read this.
The Drone Media learnt that when the Miss Uganda organizers sought for participants for the pageant, over 200 responded to the call.
However, the number was later reduced to 18 finalists among who Abenakyo emerged the winner, last night.
She will represent Uganda in the Miss World beauty contest that will be held in Sanya, China, on December 8, 2018.
A few days ago, the finalists showcased their talents during the Talent Night that was held at Sheraton Hotel, which was also the venue for the pageant last night August 10, 2018.
Prof. Maggie Blick Kigozi, Socialite Zari Hassan, Brian Ahumuza of Abryanz Style and Boutique were some of the judges who agreed that Abenakyo was fit and beautiful enough to take the crown from Leah Kagasa.
Leah has had the crown for two years after the event did not take place last year. Myko Ouma, Joseph Sax, DJ Bankrobber, Fille and Beenie Gunter among others entertained the guests. Entrance was 80k VIP and 40k General.
Anita Fabiola and Miss Deedan were the show hosts. This year’s version was the best after the organizers, Kezzi Entertainment, teamed up with Talent Africa on a three year business partnership that will see the pageant evolve into a world class beauty pageant.

The other participants included; Gloria Kabito from Kabarole, Nakijoba Edisa from Wakiso, Nakalema Mary Immaculate, Tyra Margach from Masindi and Quiin Abenakyo from Mayuge.
Well, it seems this is another breath of life for the pageant in three years upfront. #abenakyo
