SHAMELESS STELLA NYANZI RECEIVES FRESH SUMMONS:

Makerere university appointments board has freshly summoned researcher cum activist Dr. Stella Nyanzi on allegations that she insulted members of the first family including the first lady, Janet Museveni who also doubles as the Minister for Education and Sports.

The university board accuses Dr Nyanzi of committing cybercrime on social media (facebook) to direct abusive words towards the first family.
In a letter dated October 18, the board claims that Nyanzi, while using her social media, on March 29, 2017, at 12:15, used abusive and insulting language while referring to the Minister of Education and Sports.

“You among others referred to her as lazy pig, big-thighed cow, poisonous snake, empty-brained, and leopardess and certified approved fool,” reads their letter in parts to Nyanzi.
“You further insulted her on March 30, 2017 at around 1:33 using your Facebook social media page by stating that she is seriously much more foolish I envisaged. Somebody lend Janet a few brain cells, please, please, please…”

This has come days after the staff appeals tribunal early this month directed management to immediately reinstate, Dr. Nyanzi at Makerere saying her suspension was illegal and unlawful.

Nyanzi was last year indefinitely suspended by vice chancellor Prof John Ddumba Ssentamu on orders of the appointments board chairman, Bruce Balaba Kabaasa for attacking the First Lady on Facebook over ‘incompetence to run the ministry.’

The tribunal ordered the university to pay Dr. Nyanzi her outstanding emoluments within ten working days after the ruling. Delivering the ruling, the tribunal chairperson George Omunyokol faulted the appointments board for failing to conduct Nyanzi’s disciplinary hearings within the statutory four weeks after suspension. Nyanzi was suspended on March 31, 2017.

On her part, Dr. Nyanzi, says she was educated to think, speak the ‘truth’ and her PHD purifies her ability to think and that as such, she must not be punished for what she studied and is paid to do.
“When did I ever deny speaking the truth about a fool? The truth liberates! I will defend the truths that I speak,” Nyanzi said.
