First it was cigarettes, which Ugandans chucked subtly and its consumption dropped drastically rendering the factory that was on Jinja Road in Kampala, to shift to Kenya. This was after an incessant campaign against cigarettes did rounds, warning wananchi against the cancer-causing tobacco(cigarettes).

Today, The Drone Media can exclusively reveal the intelligence gathered by the Drones that indicate that soda, beer and all adulterated drinks in Uganda being dropped by Ugandans over diseases.  According to intelligence gathered by Consumer Protection Unit, Ugandans no longer drink sodas; they claim sodas are leading cause of diabetes (sukari).

This fact has been supported by research done by The Drone Media, which found out that many soda factories in Uganda have reduced production of sodas and concentrated on water. In fact, Century Bottling Company that bought Rwenzori Mineral Water has now put all its energy on the production of water rather than sodas.  The Drone Media also learnt that Century Bottling plans to begin packaging milk, which has unchallenged demand both in Uganda and outside the country.

Hariss International Limited, which had put its energy on Riham Cola, has now been diverted to Cystal Water after Riham Water failed totally in the Uganda market.

The Drone Media has also established that Century Bottling has diversified business; it is now into Plastic Recycling business and according to a source at Kyambogo, soon Century Bottling will launch a factory to consume the products got from recycled plastics that currently are exported to America.

Intelligence also indicate that many of the adulterated drinks, which recently flooded Ugandan market, have dropped in sales and consumption. These Adulterated drinks have been helped by uncontrolled and beguiling adverts, which target gullible Ugandans. However, after some time Ugandans have discovered that such drinks, actually the concocted drinks are most dangerous than sodas.  Most of their adverts claim to help sexually weak men, but they have proved to be a hoax.
