Former Presidential adviser on media issues Tamale Mirundi has directed his gun shots at Balaam Barugahara and Jose Chameleone, who recently got involved in verbal exchange with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) law enforcement officers.

The latest victims of Tamale Mirundi’s ruthless attacks have dominated news scope for a week since Easter Sunday at Bulange, Mengo.

According to Tamale Mirundi, Balaam is a spy who acts as a whistleblower. Mirundi’s claims come after Balaam allegedly reported Chameleone to URA.

“Balaam should be given a medal for reporting Chameleone to URA. This is the real patriotism I normally talk about. If your wife kills the maid, don’t you report her to Police?” Mirundi queried.

Mirundi said it is a very good thing that Balaam reported the matter to the URA, if it is true; but him being a whistle-blower, he is just a spy.

Mirundi looked down on Chameleone’s action regarding URA officials. He said it is completely primitive for someone like Chameleone to evade taxes yet he is hoping to stand for a political office in the country.

Tamale Mirundi also added that Chameleone should learn to respect himself and clear tax arrears for his car Toyota Land Cruiser V8.

Meanwhile a source in URA told The Drone Media that the singer might never get his car back because he jumped over many procedures. Therefore, to reverse the processes and re-correct mistakes, which need surcharges will need sh 200 million exclusive actual tax of the car.

In the normal procedure Chameleone was supposed to register the car at the border and thereafter he would renew it every after three weeks or present its papers for tax assessment, which he never did.

While The Drone Media hovered over URA Headquarters in Nakawa, some officials were overheard saying that most artists don’t like paying taxes; “they love free goods,” they said, laughing.
