Virtual Birthday Kalungi is not missing it

Kalungi Sheebah is one of the popular slayers in town. Today she celebrates her birthday, but like most women in this world; she won’t reveal exact age she is celebrating. You can only get the numbers by visiting her upcountry home, but exclusively talking to the eldest woman in that village.
Those elderly women (Obukakairu/jajjas) will never hide such truth. In fact, they say, most people wish those elderly women who know them in and out; death. In Runyankole: “Obukakairu bukumanya kuri okura bukafa!
Easily translated if only those old women would die as you grow older.
“I hope you enjoyed your birthday ! Cheers to your growth there is no doubt you are going to go places! Just keep being you!” That was a message of encouragement from her fellow slayers.  Kalungi is very determined to slay them hard as you can see.
An admirer, Kais Divo says, “I appreciate you both so much! It was nice catching up with you too, so proud of you.  This is the virtual way of celebrating birthday. In away, you dodge expenses of buying drinks plus eats. It reminds of those days broke men would walk their lovers long distances, claiming they are on romantic walks, yet they are really broke. Anyway, happy birthday Sheebah!
