Jennifer Musisi was on a mafia hit list they sent her a death flower

Fresh details have emerged why Kampala Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi threw in a towel over the weekend.

Musisi reportedly sighted mostly political reasons, an insider has intimated to us that her life was in danger after mafias sent her a warning that she was soon following late Mohammad Kirumira.

Kirumira a former Mayende DPC was gunned down in Bulenga near his home on September 8, 2018 with a friend Resty Nalinya Mbabazi and a hunt for his killers is still on.

A source familiar with security told us that recently mafias have been planning to blow out Musisi’s candles for reasons ranging from political sabotage to fat deals she may be blocking and the need to place some more friendly force into that office.

It is said that after threatening her for a long time, the mafias are said to have sneaked in a death flower (wreath) into Musisi’s compound with symbolic messages that she would soon lose her life.

The source said that the wreath must have caused a lot of panic in Musisi’s brains seeing her self dead in a coffin with wreath from friends. It put her at cross roads.
The source added that Musisi after contemplating what she went through; and what she still goes through; whereby some times unappreciated efforts even politically, she finally decided to quit.

In an October 15th letter to President Museveni, Musisi said that issues like low funding to the authority, lack of staff motivation and friction between the KCCA political and technical wings have forced her to resign.

“One of the main challenges has been to reconcile the competing interests between political perspectives / decisions and the strategic plans, policies, regulations and work plans of the KCCA Technical Team.

Consequently, it has increasingly become difficult to achieve set targets,”Musisi said in her letter through the Minister for Kampala.

According to Musisi, there is inadequate political support to the efforts of the KCCA Technical Team to transform the city a thing she says has stalled development.

In the letter she told the president that KCCA was unable to meet both government and public expectations due to inadequate funding, a thing she says cannot allow her continue as KCCA Executive Director.

“This is to submit my resignation the position of Executive Director Kampala Capital City Authority with effect from 15 December 2018,”she adds.
Does a wreath symbolize death?

Historically , the branches were shaped into wreaths, symbols of joy and victory in classical times. The evergreen wreath – its circular shape an emblem not only of perfection and unity but also of the warm, enduring sun – later became a Christian symbol for Christ’s suffering and ultimate triumph over death.
