Tumukunde officially introduced to Museveni family

Dr. Angela Kakishozi over the weekend introduced her lover Amanya Tumukunde, son to former Security Minister and ex-Presidential Candidate Lt. Gen Henry Tumukunde.

Kakishozi is the daughter to Enid Kukunda, a wife to President Museveni who stays in Kishozi  Family farm. The glamorous introduction ceremony remained a top secret to close family members. The function was held at their home in Lyantonde district.

Gen Henry Tumukunde attended in person and even gave a speech. By this write-up, The Drone Media confirms that it is no longer rumour. Amanya Tumukunde is officially a muko(son-in-law) to President Yoweri Tubuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni.

The couple that hails from Rukungiri district is set to wed soon, according to sources. Amanya and Angella got close while both pursuing their degrees in Malaysia.

Sources say that President Museveni was absent, but was the rest of his brothers attended. The Kwanjula function was graced by President Museveni’s brothers, Shedrick Nzeire and Michael Nuwagira alias Toyota and close family members.

The Wedding in poised to take place not far from now, with the glaring tension between the two families after the General fell out with the first family hence leading to him being dropped as a minister.

He went on to run against President Museveni in the Recent elections for the presidential seat, this caused more division with the government slapping treason charges on the father of the bridegroom. Let’s hope this marriage can rebuild the broken ties.
