UBC IS YET TO GIVE BASSAJJABALABA BILLIONS OF TAX PAYERS’ MONEY

Government is to lose sh36bn in a bogus refund compensation to HABA Group ( Bassajjabalaba’s company). This orchestrated deal is led by corrupt UBC TV board of Directors.

A source told The Drone Media that they are refunding under the guise of compensating HABA Group for the loss of land comprised of FRV 211 Folio 18 plots 8-12 and 12-16 and 18-20 Farah Aideed Road in Bugolobi.

Surprisingly, at first the money in this transaction was sh 11.5bn now it has become sh36bn. The UBC board wants to pay HABA Group owned by city businessman Hassan Basajabalaba yet this was a scam that caused hullabaloo years ago!

We hear the UBC TV Board of directors is a den of thieves. Independent nvestigations can reveal they sold Magic TV and Magic radio; they also sold Digital Terrestrial TV and radio infrastructure to Chinese DSTV Star Times.

Sources told The Drone Media that they have held 35 Board meetings instead of four contrary to UBC act in 2015-2016.

UBC collected sh17bn and spent sh11bn in the period of 3yrs. The Board of Directors spent sh46.3bn instead of sh441millions mandated by Engineering Department headed by Richard Barungi a lawyer by profession and an audit department headed by a retired teacher and above all sold UBC Channel 24 to CLEAR Media Services among others.
