Busy-body Nabbanja turns into Idi Amin!

Uganda Premier Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja has, in a move reminiscent of former dictator Idi Amin Dada’s mode operand, directed ministers who can’t operate at supersonic speed to pack up and go home!
Idi Amin Dada called up a cabinet meeting during his reign and told the ministers how he was running his government at supersonic speed and ordered those unable to cope up to vacate office.
“ I am running my government at supersonic speed unlike Obote who was running his sluggishly,” Amin told members of his cabinet.
Amin’s former cabinet minister, Hajj Abu Mayanja before passing on, confirmed the order in question.
Abu following the order given by Amin, resigned his cabinet job together with a number of colleagues, fearing for the worst seeing that Amin was an eccentric character!
Nabbanja following a letter written by disaster preparedness minister, Hillary Onek complaining how the Premier had grabbed his ministry complete with responsibilities, asked the minister to pack up and go home.
In the letter, Onek reveals how Nabbanja is not only running his ministry and chasing away his technical staff without consulting him, but she is  also  spending the money allocated to the ministry without recourse to him as the line minister.
Sounding frustrated, desperate and angry,  Onek asks Nabbanja  to tell him to resign if she is interested in doing his ministerial job.
But the non-repentant Nabbanja via a public response issued on Wednesday,  told Onek she is carrying out his ministerial duties simply because he is lazy, not that she has no work to do herself!
” Wow to the lazy ministers! Gone are the days of lazy ministers. We are here to strictly serve our people,” Nabbanja mocked Onek.

Nabbanja accuses Onek and cabinet ministers like him of frustrating government programs by failing to  render much needed services to wanainchi.
” Wanainchi are very angry with government simply because ministers who are lazy aren’t rendering them services, ” Musafiri notes.
She then pronounces how she can’t sit by as head of government business as the wanainchi continue suffering whilst  the relevant cabinet  ministers are, on the other hand, lazily looking on.
President Museveni while justifying the current cabinet line up of ‘ fisheries and farmers’. He referenced Jesus Christ who, he said, bypassed the highly educated Pharisees and appointed fishers and such lowly regarded people among his disciples, but that they went on to do a finer job.
