Umar is dull Amama  Mbabazi withdraws his cash

The  infamous USAFI market businessman Umar Ssekamatte who wowed Kampala in the hey days of former Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Jenniffer Musisi, is reportedly broke.

Sources tell The Drone Media that after  most of the money he was showing off with was removed by the owners, the businesses have stalled. The businesses include a car bond (Delight) at Bakuli in Old Kampala, which is now clean save for a Perfect Coach bus, seen lonely in the vast car bond.

Umar who owned some business flats at Bakuli became a household name when it was revealed that he had not only bought land around Kalitunsi ,Katwe,  but also that he was intending to construct a market called USAFI.

A few months that followed, traders scrambled to buy stalls in USAFI Market, but when the venture stalled; Umar cut a multi-million deal to sell the failed market to KCCA and he got money and disappeared.

Umar moved on and bought another market at  Bakuli which he demolished and constructed a modern car bond with expensive vehicles and carriers.

Today the former car bond is empty with not even a bicycle parked in  it and the flamboyant Umar has gone silent.

Our Drones have however,  discovered that Umar’s source of poverty is none other than  the change of mind by his financiers.

It is alleged that Umar was only a go-between; driving the economic interests of former Prime Minster, Hon. Amama Mbabazi .

It is also alleged that Amama Mbaabazi   was the real owner of all the monies which Umar was using to buy land and also construct USAFI market and other ventures   .

Our sources say that when Amama Mbabazi saw that USAFI was not yielding to expectations, he quickly called some big shots in KCCA who convinced  Jennifer Musisi into buying the market.

Moreover it was bought at such exorbitant price which left most people who cared to follow the Lord mayor inclusive, puzzled.

It is again said that although Madam Jennifer Musisi could not have known who was behind the USAFI deal, her knowing or not would not have derailed  the deal because Jenniffer Musisi was equally a silent cadre to Amama Mbabazi.

Jeniffer Musisi got the KCCA office during the hey days of Amama Mbabazi. Otherwise, the critiques say she could not have comfortably settled in that city hall office if she was not in the good books of Amama Mbabazi  at that moment.
