Why the graceful Josephine Karungi left NTV

Josephine Karungi describes herself as a Christian, daughter, sister, wife, journalist and a friend. In the eyes of an ordinary Ugandan, she is a graceful and endowed woman.

Karungi, a root of Rukungiri, The Drone Media gathered she loves peace, but this kind of peace was absent. Her workload became a thorn in the foot, which forced her to resign from the TV station. Though her reasons for exit was not  made public our trusted sources have revealed that the new management that was making reshuffles and restructuring intentionally loaded work onto her desk, literally forcing her out.

Josephine Karungi, is a Ugandan journalist and television personality who works as a media and communications consultant at the World Bank Uganda, based at their offices in Kampala, Uganda’s capital city.

Josephine Karungi who has been anchoring News at the Kampala Serena Hotel based station for the past few years dumped his professional job to new role as a consultant at the World Bank.

Since October 2018, Karungi has been serving as the Head of News at NTV Uganda. Before then, she had spent over 15 years the station.

Reports further suggests that she was hired to work hand in hand and assist Keziah Muthembwa who replaced Sheila Kulubya as the World Bank Communication’s officer in Uganda.

Karungi tied the knot with Vince Musisi in 2012 and then, after a domestic spat slightly over a year into their marriage, they split up.

Vince was rumored to be some sort of bad boy so fingers were pointed at his evil ways. The break up was so bad that the news anchor ditched her ring as well as her husband’s name.

In the course of their split, Karungi was then rumored to be seeing one of her workmates, and then a Russian man – tabloid trash!

But being the private couple that both are, not much did we get from the horse’s mouth. All we shall continue to assume is that the couple sorted themselves out and that the baby boy Karungi had sometime in 2016 is indeed Vince’s, as he claims.
