Parliament Speaker Anita Among has posed with Jose Chameleone, seeking for attention while the singer looks for limelight for his Gwanga Mujje Concert that will take place this Friday, 10th, February, 2023 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

This calculated pose aimed at public opinion, which targets gullible Ugandans who should  attend the concert.  It followed his visit to her office that happened today, 7th, February, 2023.

During the meeting, the speaker reportedly asked parliamentarians and the public to support him.

“Artistes like Chameleone have over the years made a huge contribution to marketing our Country, giving employment opportunities, and entertaining the country. I join the rest of the country in celebrating this living legend and wish him the very best in the Gwanga Mujje Concert,” Among said in a statement that was posted on her Twitter account.

Chameleone and his family have been meeting different personalities as one of the ways of promoting his concert.

Recently, he visited the Katikilo of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga at his office at Bulange Mengo and held talks with him.

According to Biggie Events, the organizer of the show, all preparations for the concert are done and the stage has been built early to allow the team and sound engineers do their homework properly.

Biggie has been doing show drives in different parts of Kampala and Wakiso districts and holding market activations as one of the ways of promoting the event.

Chameleone and his brothers Weasel, Pallaso have been doing live band practice at Maestro Studios in Kampala for three weeks ahead of the concert.

He recently cancelled his Australian tour because the tour was going to disorganize his music show, which he has been preparing since last year when musicians were allowed to organize shows following a two year national wide lockdown which was imposed on Ugandans as one of the ways of stopping the quick spread of the deadly Covid 19.
