In Tanzania four happy-go brats were arrested while they feasted on goat’s meat, literally celebrating the death of John Pombe Magufuli.

Now, in Uganda, somewhere in Namulonge; an obsessed fan surrounded by an air of melancholy; erected a pork joint that he named after the fallen Tanzanian leader John Pombe Magufuli.  A well designed sign post welcomes pork eaters with shouting writings, ” Magufuli Pork Joint” on it.

Roast pork is a favorite Sunday roast, second only to the Uganda’s pork eaters, roast beef and fried (Kikaraye), Perfect roast pork should have lovely moist, evenly cooked meat surrounded by crisp, sharp crackling. The crackling can be left on or removed at the end of cooking and served separately. Cooking perfect roast pork is easy once you know the right tricks.
