Apologize or else I make you bankrupt by taking you to court-Tibuhaburwa Museveni

President Museveni has  asked The Daily Monitor to apologize for reporting that he already received Covid19 vaccination, but if they don’t bend low to his prayer; he will take them to court.

It is obvious, The Daily Monitor do not have evidence to prove the first citizens already received jabs as they reported. The official vaccination exercise is expected to kick off Wednesday March 10, 2021, and the president will take the jab.

However, last month, the Wall Street Journal carried a story claiming “in Uganda, members of President Yoweri Museveni’s inner circle were offered vaccines”.

Health minister Jane Ruth Aceng disputed reports that President Yoweri Museveni had already been vaccinated against COVID19.

She said the 4,000 vaccine doses allowed into the country from China, were administered exclusively to only Chinese nationals living in Kapeeka Industrial Complex.

According to an article written by an American news agency,  the said medicine was procured from China. The Daily Monitor also carried a similar story. The alleged vaccine was brought to Uganda specifically for the Chinese citizens.

“In the meantime, I am going to make some money from Daily Monitor,” Museveni said Monday while presiding over Women’s Day celebrations at State House, Entebbe.

“They lied that I had been vaccinated together with my wife. I am going to make them bankrupt unless they apologize and lie down. I’ve already filed a case in court,” he clarified.
