She started singing in school and joined the music industry in 1997 as a back up vocalist for Diamond Ensemble group. It is there that she released her first ‘Akamuli’.

Her break through into the music field came through a friend who was a member of the virtuoso group Diamond Ensemble. Angela joined as a back up vocalist, in the process of transforming to lead vocalist.  She then collaborated with Abby Mukiibi of Afri-Talent on the ‘bulemezi’ songs.

In 2006, she released a six-track solo album, with two songs in English and four in Luganda. She currently sings in her own band, the K’angie band.  She is inspirational.

Today, she has written: We will keep soldiering on in the fight to upbringing a responsible future generation. We will continue fulfilling our responsibility to society.

We will shut our mouths to speeches that belittle one another and open them to uplifting each other. We will continue walking within the corridors of power to create an impact in developing our nation at large. We will continue nurturing the minds and souls of everyone around us.

We will continue giving respect to our husbands, and creating a favourable environment for them to provide for the family. We will continue appreciating the efforts and achievements of our peers and most of all, we will continue putting God ahead of our endeavors to achieve all the above. We are today’s woman. Happy women’s day Ladies, Kalule concludes.
