Army officer shoots colleagues at Namugongo

UPDF spokesperson, Brig. Richard Karemire has clarified on Namugongo shooting.

He said that Corporal Yoram Tumwesigye, at a camping site away from the shrines of Namugongo last night released some bullets causing injuries to four of his colleagues.

Tumwesigye was immediately arrested and investigations about the incident have started. Brig. Karemire has also confirmed to this website that the injured are responding well to the treatment. No pilgrim got injured and the situation was very calm. #thedronemedia#
